7. 5 Profi bus
The UMG 605-PRO is equipped with
a Profi bus connection that is designed as
a 9-pin DSUB receptacle.
For the connection, we recommend a
"SUBCON-Plus-Profi B/AX/SC" 9-pin Profi bus
connector from Phoenix.

7. 5. 1 Connection of the bus wiring
The inbound bus wiring is connected
to terminals 1A and 1B.
The bus wiring for the next device in line
is connected to terminals 2A and 2B.
If there are no subsequent devices in
the line, the bus wiring must be terminated
with a resistor (switch to ON). With the switch
set to ON, terminals 2A and 2B are switched
off for further continuing bus wiring.
