Binning Function
The binning function allows you to combine the signal values of clusters of adjacent
pixels to create improved virtual pixels. Using the function results in images with
lower pixel resolution and higher sensitivity.
This camera performs vertical binning via digital addition in the sensor.
This camera performs horizontal binning via digital addition processing.
ROI (Regional Scanning Function)
The ROI (region of interest) function allows you to output images by specifying the
areas to scan.
ROI Settings
Specify the area to scan by specifying width and horizontal offset values under
[Image Format Control].
The setting ranges for the ROI function's readable area based on the Binning setting
(Binning Horizontal) are as follows.
Offset X (pixels)
Offset Y (pixels)
BinningHorizontal Off:
0 to 8176 step 16
BinningHorizontal On:
0 to 4088 step 8
0 to 4095 setp 1
Width (pixels)
Height (pixels)
BinningHorizontal Off:
16 to 8192 step 16
BinningHorizontal On:
8 to 4096 step 8
1 to 4096 step 1
