PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGH-
LY BEFORE INSTALLATION
CAUTION
The operations described in this manual must only be
performed by qualified specialist personnel.
Arrangement for installation
Refer to the pre-installation sheet provided with the product for the
arrangement of the plumbing and electrical connections and/or to
check their execution.
X
Check that the following have been provided:
- a system for filling the hot tub
- connections to the drain well
- installation of a water softener (upstream from the hot tub) if
the water is very hard
-connection of the electrical box installed on the spa-pak with
the electrical system of the building. The main disconnecting
switch is to be placed in a safe location that is accessible to users.
Also refer to the chapter on
connections and electrical safety
.
X
For
outdoor installations,
it is advisable to drain the ducts of
the electrical cables, to prevent possible water accumulation.
X
If the hot tub is
installed indoors,
remember that water
evaporation from the hot tub can cause very high levels of hu-
midity, especially if temperatures are very high, even if the ther-
mal cover is used. Natural or forced ventilation helps to maintain
personal comfort and reduce damage to the building.
Jacuzzi Europe shall not be held liable for any damage caused by
excessive humidity.
If
installation is made indoors
, it is advisable to provide a
drain system under the support area of the hot tub which is
connected to the main drain. Considering the large amount of
water in the hot tub, this precaution is advisable should there
be accidental water leakage.
Instructions for installation
The hot tub is carefully packed in wood crates that ensure pro-
tection during transport. Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. shall not be
held liable for damage incurred during transport or interme-
diate storage. As soon as you receive the hot tub, it is therefore
important to check that the packaging is in perfect condition
and if not, immediately notify the forwarding agent.
X
(
1
) Remove the hot tub from the packaging and from the
panels, if present (
2
).
X
Carefully inspect the hot tub before proceeding with instal-
lation, checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes and
clamps
(check that they are not loose).
X
When choosing the installation site, any obstacles to move-
ment (doors, stairs, etc.) should be taken into account.
X
(
1
) For all transport operations use only the pallet on
which the hot tub can be placed, while during installation sup-
port it by using only straps of adequate capacity.
If it is not possible to use straps, the hot tub can be moved by
holding it by the corner supports.
NOTE: this type of movement must be performed with extreme
care and the customer or its representative must assume full
responsibility for it.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability for damages caused
by said operation or any other inappropriate handling proce-
dures.
In any case, for all the transport and positioning opera-
tions, support the hot tub only using the belts or from
the perimeter edge, and NEVER from the hydraulic
pipes, always using protective gloves.
Positioning of the hot tub
Set the hot tub on a base that can sustain the load
(refer to the
pre-installation instructions).
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material
of which is made the hot tub shell, due to its capac-
ity to absorb heat (dark colours in particular). Don’t
leave the hot tub to sun exposure without adequate
protection when not in use (cover thermal, gaze-
bo, etc.). Any damage arising by not following these
warnings are not covered by the guarantee.
Plumbing connections
X
Refer to the pre-installation instructions for information on
connecting the drain.
Cover
X
Install the locking system of the cover (
4
).
