Q
“S
ILENCE
”
FUNCTION
This function prevents automatic start of the pumps (filtering cy-
cle); it can therefore help to reduce noise levels in the environment
(e.g. at night).
The anti-freezing mode ("smart winter", see the respective sec-
tion) takes precedence over the "silence" function.
The function turns on through an external timer or time switch, to
be prepared as indicated on the pre-installation data sheet; the nor-
mally open contact of the timer must be connected to the hot tub's
electrical box (see wiring diagram).
X
The time can be used to program the periods in which the au-
tomatic operation of the pumps is to be turned off (also refer to
the documents that come with the timer).
X
However, it is possible to turn the hydromassage and/or spot-
light on
(in these cases, the “silence” function is suspended and re-
sumes about one minute after the hydromassage and/or spotlight
turns off).
X
During the function, “
Sby
” appears on the screen of the dis-
play (B).
Operation of filtering cycles in relation to the "silence" function
If the "silence" function is programmed so that it coincides with
the time slots reserved for the filtering cycle, this will be tempo-
rarily suspended; it will resume at the end of the "silence" func-
tion for the remaining time
(example: if the function lasts 6 hours
and the filtering cycle 8 hours, the latter will resume operation for
the remaining 2 hours).
However, if the “silence” duration is greater than the filtering
cycle, this will not start at the end of the function, and the filtering
will be delayed to the next cycle: in this case, the hot tub water
quality could worsen, since the filtering cycle time was reduced.
Do not program too long time periods that could signifi-
cantly reduce the filtering cycle time: the water must always
circulate through the filter.
NOTES
-
Warning: only a normally open (not closed) contact must be con-
nected to the terminal provided on the electrical box.
- It is advisable to program the "silence" function so that it does not
coincide with the filtering cycles.
- If the pump is operating when the "silence" function should start,
it is suspended and then resumed for about one minute after the
pump is switched off.
- If a new temperature value is set during the "silence" function, this
will be valid at the end of the function.

EYBOARD
LOCK
To avoid accidentally modifying the set parameters, there is an op-
tion to activate the keyboard lock function.
X
To enable this function, simply press the keys below at the
same time and hold for approximately 3-5 seconds:
~ 3-5”
The message
“Loc”
appears (followed by the water temperature).
NOTE
-
When the display is locked, the pumps, spotlight, etc. cannot be
activated; however, the round displays can be used for activating
the various functions.
-
The “keyboard lock” function cannot be activated on
round displays.
X
To disable the keyboard lock, simply press these same keys at
the same time for approximately 3-5 seconds
(the water temper-
ature is displayed).
Abnormal operating conditions
Messages and alarms on the display
Messages or alarms are indicated on the display with the corre-
sponding error code.
You will continue to see the code if the alarm condition persists.
Note: please also see the chapters describing the different functions.

- possible solution
X
(where expected)
“
L1
”
This appears when the hot tub is turned
on if the water level in the tank is not sufficient (the pumps cannot
be activated).
- Add water to the hot tub until the message disappears.
X
(where expected) “
AL1
”
The tub has not reached the correct fill
level in the preset time (60 mins); the pumps cannot be activated.
- Turn the switch on the main power supply line to the hot tub
off and on again; if the problem persists, contact an authorised
Jacuzzi® service centre.
