- When dipswitch 1 is set to ON, the maximum electrical consump-
tion is selected.
Check of operation
First start-up
X
Remove the thermal cover from the hot tub and remove the
front and side panels, if present.
X
Check that the drainage valve (V) on the base is closed
.
V
Note:
A valve can also be installed near the drain pit and used in-
stead of the valve (V) (always leave it open); this means you do not
have to remove the panel on the technical compartment every time
(please see the pre-installation information).
X
Check that all the hydromassage intakes are open.
X
Once immersed in the hot tub
, the water level must fully cov-
er the nozzles on the backrest.
Filling will be performed as decided beforehand by the customer
(see pre-installation sheet, “Preparation for installation” chapter).
If you use the hose for garden work, let water run for a while
before filling the hot tub. This will eliminate stagnant water in
the hose along with any bacteria that may cause irritations.
NOTE: if the water is particularly hard (i.e. it contains
significant quantities of calcium, magnesium, metals,
etc.), we recommend half-filling the hot tub with hard
water and half-filling it with softened water. Using
only softened water may cause the metal parts to cor-
rode and may damage the hot tub shell.
X
Turn on the all-pole circuit breaker located on the power sup-
ply line
(see the chapter on connections and electrical safety)
.
Notes:
- When first turned on, all of the numbers and LEDs on the control
panel
(
3 / 6
, display B
)
will turn on. Following, the display will
show the codes for the firmware versions.
- In general, when the hot tub is filled for the first time, the water
temperature is lower than the factory set value (35°C), therefore the
heater and
filtering pump
are activated (the control panel display
will show the temperature of the water in the tub).
The operation of the filtration pump is also signalled by the flow of
water coming out of the small jets on the hot tub wall.
- If the message “
FLO
/FLC
”
appears on the display, alternating with
the temperature value
, the heater pressure switch/flow switch may
be faulty. Please see the “Abnormal operating conditions – alarm
signals” chapter.
X
Press the TEST button of the differential switch located up-
stream from the electrical system to which the hot tub is con-
nected. If it does not trip, it may be faulty or it may have tripped
due to problems in the electrical system of the building.
Disconnect the hot tub and do not use it until you have iden-
tified and eliminated the defect.
X
Check the operation of the pump
:
- briefly press the “
Pump
”
button (display A) to turn pump
on/off
(the button briefly lights up blue, then returns to white);
- press the “
Pump
”
button (display B) to turn pump on/off;
X
Check that the spotlight switches on and off using the “
Light
”
key
(display B) and then the
key (display A).
X
Check that there are no leaks from the hydraulic connections
or other problems.
X
Completely disinfect the hot tub by carrying out “
super-chlo-
rination
” treatment
.
