READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHOUT
BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION
Important
Check the goods upon reception (specifically, check for visible
damage to the exterior packaging). Notify the carrier if damage
is found, in accordance with the laws in force.
CHECK THAT THE ARRANGEMENTS ARE SUITED TO THE
INDICATIONS SHOWN ON THE PRE-INSTALLATION
SHEET.
Wearing protective gloves, remove the tub from the package. Lift
it from the rim only. Never lift the tub by grasping the pipes.
Remove the protective film and check for faults.
Warranty for damage caused by shocks and scratches
will be void after installation.
Check the fastening of all clamps (rubber couplings and
air line tubes).
It is advisable to install the tub on finished (tiled) walls and
floor.
Two people are required for assembly and installation.
NOTE:
(
1
)
check that the walls of the installation area are
perfectly perpendicular with respect to each other and to the
floor. If the perpendicularly error is higher than allowed, either
move the tub to a different location or shim appropriately in the
shower box supporting areas, accordingly.
The panels allow access to the electromechanical components
under the tub and ensure appropriate ventilation also for
hydromassage functions air-water mixing
.
Ventilation must be ensured also if Jacuzzi® panels are
not used (see pre-installation sheet). The panels must
be stably fixed and a specific tool must be needed to
remove them. Ventilation openings, holes, and grids
must not allow the introduction of objects of diameter
larger than 12 mm.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
(
2, detail 1
) Connect 2 flexible holes 3/8”F-1/2”M 30 cm
long (included) to the outlets arranged on the floor (1/2” F).
CAUTION: (IEC 60335-1/A2: 2006) the pressure in
the plumbing system feeding the device must not
exceed 600 kPa (6 bars).
(
2, detail 2
) Loosen the ring nut and screws from the joint
support and fit the joint support on the tub as shown. Then tighten
the ring nut screws.
Arrange the rubber seal (A) over the tub rim. The metallic ring nut
(B), on the other hand, must be in contact with the surface
underneath.
(
3
) Position the tub in the installation place, level it and adjust
height by turning the feet (C) in the corners of the tub by hand.
NOTE:
The upper surface of the tub measured from the edge of
the rim must be at a height of 60 cm from the floor. The feet allow
adjustment in the range from -0.5 to +1.5 cm to compensate for
differences in the floor level.
DO NOT LOOSEN THE LOCK NUTS (G) ON THE
FRAMEWORK SHOWN BY A LABEL WITH A RED ARROW.
(
4
) Mark the hole for each external foot on the floor (one hole
is enough).
Move the tub and drill the floor.
Insert the screw anchors (contained in the bolt and screw pack),
reposition the tub in the prepared position and check that the
central feet (C1) also rest on the floor.
At this point, fit the drain pipe included (see attached
instructions) and connect it to the drain by means of a siphon (use
of a plastic siphon is recommended).
Before fixing the tub to the floor, fill it with water to a suitable
level and check for leakage from the various plumbing connections.
Leave the tub filled with water for at least one hour.
(
4
) Empty the tub and fix the feet to the floor in permanent
manner.
Adjust the central feet (C1) so that they rest perfectly on the floor.
Installing the column
(
5
) Where required, fix the face plate to the column as shown.
To avoid hindering the operations that follow, it is advisable to
unwind the connection wire only during the connection step.
(
detail 1
)
The face plate must be fitted so that the writing over the
buttons is on the right with respect to the tub filler underneath.
(
6, detail1
) Check that the holes of the distribution coupling
(on the top of the column) are positioned as shown in part. 1C; if
this is not so, turn the pipe (by means of a screwdriver) and take it
to the aforesaid position.
(
6, detail 2
) Insert the distribution coupling into the tube, so
that it is parallel to the shower attachment
(the coupling has four
grooves for keying onto the tube support).
(
6, detail 4
) Fix the tube to the coupling with the threaded cap.
(
7, detail 1
) Insert the column on the coupling on the tub rim.
(
detail
2-3
) Check levelling, take the ring nut cover of the tube into
contact with the wall and trace its circumference.
(
7, detail 4-5
) Remove the column from the tub, loose the
ring nut from the tube and position in the middle of the traced
circumference; mark the fastening points, drill and insert the screw
anchors. Then fix the ring nut (
detail 6, 7, 8
).
(
8
) Then reposition the column on the tub and fasten the ring
nut of the tube to the ring nut fixed to the wall. Check correct
levelling in both directions.
(
detail 3
)
Adjust the flange to correct minor perpendicularity errors.
