7. Re-install wheel nuts
Mount the wheel hub cap (if equipp
-ed). Tighten nuts by hand. Shake the
wheel to make sure that all nuts are
fully installed. Re-tighten the nuts by
hand.
8. Lower car body and tighten nuts
Lower car body onto the ground as
shown in the figure above.
Arrange the wrench as shown in the
above figure. Make sure that the
socket wrench firmly covers the nut.
Tighten the nuts. Do not tread the
wrench handle with your foot or place
the extension rod onto wrench handle.
Tighten all nuts and re-check them for
any loosening. After the wheel is
replaced, request a mechanic to
tighten the nuts to their specified
torque.
After replacement
Take off the valve cap. Measure the air
pressure via a barometer if available.
The air pressure measured is lower
than a specified value. Slowly drive to
the nearest service center for inflation.
If the air pressure measured is too
high, bleed the tire until its air pressure
reaches the specified value. After
checking and air pressure adjustment
are completed, you shall cover the
valve cap. The valve cap is used to
prevent air in the tire from escaping.
So, do remember to install it. If the
valve cap is missing, buy a new one as
