Remove the plug from the mains socket before any maintenance and/or servicing work.
Wear gloves for any maintenance or cleaning work on the blade.
To replace the blade, have the work done by your approved dealer.
Always wear cut-resistant gloves when replacing the blade or when working in the vicinity of the
blade.
Any work involving maintenance or replacement of parts must be carried out by a qualified individual.

6 CONTROL AND SAFETY DEVICES
6.1 Controls
Your slicer is fitted with either a touch screen or a capacitive interface screen (fig.9).
If your slicer is fitted with a touch screen, it comprises the following items:
1. Slice thickness
2. Number of slices
3. Cutting speed
4. Choice of 4 cutting modes:
a. Cut entire loaf,
b. Cut a number of slices,
c. Cut half the loaf into slices,
d. Cut the loaf in half.
5. Start cutting
6. Advanced settings. This button gives you access to the slicer cleaning mode (n°38) and to
Easymode settings (n°42).
7. Access to Easymode. Easymode is a screen configuration that enables you to pre-set 6 quick
start buttons (n°40) which combine cutting speed and slice thickness. To configure these
buttons, press the “advanced settings” button (n°33), then the “Easymode settings” button
(n°42). Then all you need to do is select a slice thickness and a cutting speed for each of the 6
buttons (n°43) by pressing directly on the values you want to change. Exit the screen to
confirm your choices.
If your slicer is fitted with a capacitive interface screen, it comprises the following items:
1. Choice of 4 cutting modes:
a. Cut whole loaf (fig.9, n°49),
b. Cut a number of slices (fig.9, n°50),
c. Cut half the loaf into slices (fig.9, n°51),
d. Cut loaf in half (fig.9, n°52),
2. Number of slices (triangle buttons A and C) (fig.9, n°53, 54),
3. Slice thickness (triangle buttons B and D) (fig.9, n°55, 56),
4. Settings (fig.9, n°57). This button accesses the slicer cleaning mode (fig.9, n°65). The cleaning
mode is started using the Start/Stop button (fig.9, n°60).
