Edit Level Functions

EDIT LEVEL PASSWORD PRIVILEGES

The Edit Level password is used to add or make changes to the
Cues and presets.  A user with Edit Level password privileges
can:

record, edit, and/or delete presets and cues

Select and load a show previously saved

create a new show

delete an existing show

edit show specific soft upper and soft lower limits

To enter the Edit Level, the operator opens the System Config
window, and then uses the Log In button to open the password
entry window.  The operator keys in the Edit Level password and
touches the "Done" key on the keypad, then the "Close" key on
the System Config window, to enter Edit Level.  Note that the
borders on the screens are gold while the system is in edit level
or above.

RECORDING A PRESET

Once logged in with Edit Level password
privileges, the operator goes to the Preset page to
create a preset.  The screen will have a couple of
tools that were not available at the Access Level,
but the basic screen layout is the same.  The main
part of the screen displays the show list.  The
show that is loaded in this example is called "First
Show".  Below that, the preset “APW 28’ flat” is
listed.  This preset has five cues associated with it.

To create a Preset, the operator clicks on the
show icon at the top of the list.  This will cause the
New Preset icon to appear at the bottom right of
the screen.
