Instruction manual

Installing the chute assembly.

Put the spring pad to the opening of the chute seat

as shown [F5].

Put the discharge chute (5) on the chute seat, and

fix it by left and right plastic fixing plates [F6]. Then settle

it with two screws.

PRE-OPERATION CHECK

WARNING!  Before  using  your

machine for the first time, be sure that

it  is  properly  assembled.  Check  that

all  parts  are  properly  attached  and

undamaged.  If  you  are  unsure  about

the  assembly  or  condition  of  any  of

your  machine  parts,  please  call  the

customer service. Check that all parts

are  attached  and  undamaged.  Check

that all fasteners are tight.

Before each use of your machine:

Check  engine  oil  level  with  the  machine  on  level

ground,  by  inspecting  the  dipstick  of  the  oil  cap.  If

necessary,  fill  in  with  suitable  oil.  The  engine  can  be

seriously damaged without oil!

Make sure there is enough gasoline in the fuel tank.

If necessary, add clean, fresh unleaded gasoline. Refuel

only outdoors. Take care not to spill fuel out. Make sure

to wipe off any spilled fuel before starting the engine.

Keep the area of operation free from foreign objects

that can be thrown by the auger (8) or impeller blades.

Perform a thorough inspection of the area since some

objects may be hidden from view by surrounding snow.

Before each use of your machine, check the wheel

pressure.

Over-inflating could cause a wheel to burst

and cause severe bodily injury. The pressure can be

checked using an ordinary wheel pressure gauge.

Fill the wheels using a portable air compressor or

other compressed air source.

CAUTION!  DO  NOT  OVER-INFLATE

THE WHEELS.

STARTING THE ENGINE

Insert the spark plug cap onto the spark plug.

Make certain both the auger control (3) and drive

control (1) are in the disengaged (released) position.

Move throttle control up to FAST position ( ).

Insert ignition key into slot (if provided). Make sure

it snaps into place. DO NOT attept to turn the key.

Rotate  the  choke  control  to  FULL  choke  position

(cold engine start). NOTE: If the engine is already warm,

place the choke control in the OFF position instead of

FULL.

Push the primer two or three times for cold engine

start.  Additional  priming  maybe  necessary  if  the

temperature is below -10°C. NOTE: DO NOT use primer

to restart a warm engine after a short shutdown.

Grasp the recoil starter handle and slowly pull the

rope out. At the point where it becomes slightly harder to

pull the rope, slowly allow the rope to recoil.

Pull the starter handle with a firm, rapid stroke. Do

not release the handle and allow it to snap back slowly.

As  the  engine  warms,  slowly  rotate  the  choke

control to the OFF position.

Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes after

starting.  The  engine  will  not  develop  full  power  until

reaching operating temperatures.

STOPPING THE ENGINE

When  you  finish  using  your  machine,  perform  the

following steps to shut it down:

Stop the auger (8) by releasing the auger control (3).

Run the engine for a few minutes to help dry off any

moisture on the engine.

Place the throttle lever to ‘OFF position’ (

)

Remove the ignition key (if provided).

Remove the snow from all the machine surfaces

and store the machine in a safe place.

WARNING! Never store your machine

for extended periods of time with fuel

in  the  tank.  Fuel  stabilizer  can  be

added  to  the  fuel  to  extend  its  shelf

life for storage.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Snow discharge direction

CAUTION!  Never  direct  the  snow

discharge  chute  (5)  at  the  operator,

bystanders, vehicles or nearby windows.

The  discharged  snow  and  foreign

objects  accidentally  picked  up  by  the

machine  can  cause  serious  damage

and  severe  bodily  injury.  Always  point

the discharge chute (5) in the opposite

direction from potential hazards.

The discharge chute (5) can be adjusted by moving

the handle of chute directional control (4) right or left.

Chute outlet direction adjustment [F7]
