The injector is from the construction point of view similar to
the traditional ones, except for the absence of the metering
rod spring return.
The  electro-injector  may  be  considered  made  up  in  two
parts; the actuator-spray-nozzle, made up by a pressure rod,
metering rod and nozzle; and by the control solenoid made
up by the coil and the pilot valve.

The  solenoid  controls  the  rise  of  the  metering  rod  of  the
spray-nozzle.
