Check the PTO accelerator sensor circuit for
short.

Disconnect the VIM.
2.
Disconnect the PTO accelerator sensor
connector.
3.
At the VIM connector pins, measure the
resistance.
Was the resistance within range?

startups to the replacing VIM.
