CHAPTER 8. MAINTENANCE

15. WHEEL TIGHTENING BOLTS AND NUTS

Check the wheel tightening bolts and nuts for looseness.
All loose bolts should be tightened to the specified level.

Tighten the bolts near the maximum level and tighten
again so that the groove and hole aligned together,
insert the cotter pin through the hole and groove, sprit
the edge of it.

ADJUSTMENT OF BELT TENSION OF THE SIDE
PTO (SFH240)

Stop the engine.

Shift the side PTO clutch lever to the ON position.

Adjust the wire so that the clearance between the spring
coil in expanded state is 0.5mm.

ADJUSTMENT OF BELT TENSION OF THE SIDE
PTO (F-type)

Stop the engine.

Remove the cover.

Shift the side PTO clutch lever to the ON position.

Adjust the wire so that the clearance between the spring
coil in expanded state is 0.5mm.

Assemble the cover.

17. ADJUSTMENT OF SIDE PTO BRAKE

When the machine is delivered, blade is adjusted to stop
within 7 seconds with shifting the side PTO lever to the
OFF position.

If it takes much time more than 7seconds, needs
adjustment.

Adjust the length of bolt as the clearance between the
bolt on the tension arm and brake arm
becomes 3 mm at the side PTO lever OFF position.

In case it takes more than 7 seconds after adjustment,
please consult your ISEKI dealer.

18. EXCHANGE OF SIDE PTO BELT

In case the side PTO belt is wearing, please consult
your ISEKI dealer.
