Safety notes
The safety of the operator in designing
and developing a new tractor. Designers
build in as many safety features as pos-
sible. However, every year many accident
occur which could have been avoided by
a few seconds thought and a more car-
ful approach to handling farm machinery
Implements. You, the operator can avoid
many accidents by observing the following
instructions.
General safety rules
Always keep the Operator Instruction
Book with the tractor. This book must be
made available to the operator of the trac-
tor at all times. Read the book carefully
and learn how to use the machine cor-
rectly and safely.
Do not let anyone operate this machine
without thorough instruction.
Beware of bystanders, particularly
CAUTION
The symbol and the word CAUTION is
used to indicate a potentially hazardous
situation that, if not avoided, may result
in MINOR OR MODERATE INJURY.
IMPORTANT
The word IMPORTANT is used to iden-
tify special instructions or procedures
which, if not strictly observed, could re-
sult in damage to, or destruction of the
machine, process or its surroundings.
NOTE
The word NOTE is used to indicate
points of particular interest for more ef-
ficient and convenient repair or operation.

DO NOT remove or obscure Danger,
Warning, Caution or Instruction Decals.
Replace any Danger, Warning, Caution
or Instruction Decals that are not readable

Whenever you see the words and sym-
bol shown below, used in this book and
on decals, you MUST take note of their
instructions.
DANGER
The symbol and the word DANGER
indicates an imminently hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result
in DEATH OR VERY SERIOUS INJURY.
WARNING
The symbol and the word WARNING
indicates a potentially hazardous situation.
If the instructions or procedures are
not correctly followed it could result in
PERSONAL INJURY, OR LOSS OF LIFE.
