Locating the Terminal Ports
The terminal ports are located on the bottom of the back panel. You can
use these ports to connect to power, serial devices, and scanners.

2475 Terminal Ports
Accessory Description
Port plugs Each port on the 2475 has a port plug to seal the terminal whenever a
port is not in use. Make sure that you either have a cable connector or
a port plug in each port at all times.
COM1 port Use this port for serial communications on the terminal. You can use
a serial cable to connect the terminal to another serial device, such as
a scale or printer.
Scanner port Use the scanner port to connect a scanner to the terminal with an
interface cable. For a list of supported scanners and cables, see “Input
Devices for the Scanner Port” on page 76 and “Scanner Cable
Accessories” on page 77.
Power supply port Use this port to connect the terminal to one of the DC power supply
kits (10 to 36 VDC or 15 to 96 VDC). You must have a power
supply connected to operate the terminal.
