The Norand
R
6920 Export Process" processes, creates, and
moves data sent from the handĆheld computer. The proĆ
cessed data created in the Export" subdirectory is the data
to be retrieved by a customer's host application.
Take note of the following file naming definitions, before
moving into export processing:
"
UPLOAD.DAT
Internal Norand 6920" file that stores all users'
upload data while communicating.
"
UPLFMT.CTL
Control file used by the Norand 6920 Export Process"
to define PL/N data records and DOS files.
"
UPLXXXXX.DAT
A sequentiallyĆnumbered file which stores the exĆ
ported upload data of each session. Your host applicaĆ
tion uses this file. This file contains information on
the route, communication session, PL/N data, and
what DOS files a terminal has uploaded.
