Methods, Properties, Events
The following items are the methods, properties, and events
of the Norand 6920Api Control" interface.
Methods
void Initialize()
Call Initialize before using any other methods. InitialĆ
ize creates the message queue and a background thread
to listen for messages from the formatter and commuĆ
nications processes.
void Shutdown()
Shutdown attempts to stop any running processes, halt
the background thread(s), and release the Norand ComĆ
munications Program (NCP) message queue.
void ImportProcessStart()
Start the import formatting process.
void ImportProcessStop()
Stops the import formatting process. Using default
6920 Settings causes the import process to exit after
processing all import files. Use the ImportProcessStaĆ
tus" property or a StatusMessage" event handler to deĆ
tect when the import process has finished.
void ExportProcessStart()
Start the export formatting process.
void ExportProcessStop()
Start the export formatting process. Using default 6920
Settings causes the export process to exit after processĆ

void CommunicationsStart()
Start the NCP process.
void CommunicationsStopNow()
CommunicationsStopNow" attempts to halt the NCP
process immediately. Any active sessions will be
