1. For a single-ended clock source, this pin is treated as CLKREF and requires an external reference circuit. For a differential
clock source, this pin is the complimentary clock input to BCLK.
The reset signals in the new pin definitions provide an electrical keying feature for socket PGA370
processors. This feature is used to prevent operation of socket PGA370 processors in incompatible
platforms. If the Intel

Pentium

III Processor with 512KB L2 Cache is placed in an AGTL+ only
processor platform, it will be held in reset. An AGTL+ only processor will be held in reset if it is placed in
an Intel
®
Pentium
®
III Processor with 512KB L2 Cache platform. The Intel
®
Pentium
®
III Processor
(CPUID 068xh) with AGTL Capability works in both platforms and is keyed accordingly.
