Installation and Operation Manual

Broadcast Storm Filtering

To control the broadcast storm, the threshold value should be defined. The threshold value is the
percentage of the port's total bandwidth used by broadcast traffic. When broadcast traffic for a port
rises above the threshold, broadcast storm control becomes active. The valid threshold value are 5,
10, 15, 20, 25 and 0. Value of 0 means storm control is disabled. Following commands are used to
configure & display the broadcast storm filter.
