Using the Web Interface

Installation and Operation Manual

Administrator Web Page

This link on the navigation tree allows the user to configure operational parameters for the device. 
Each paramater is described below.

IP Address Setting

The IP Address for the switch can be configured statically, or automatically by using DHCP.

1. To automatically obtain the IP address using DHCP, select

 Enable 

in DHCP tab and click 

the

 Apply 

button.

2. To statically configure the IP address, select

 Disable 

in DHCP tab, then enter the IP 

address, subnet mask and default gateway parameters. Click on the

 Apply 

button when 

complete.

3. Reset the FS-24 to put the new IP address into effect.

Switch Settings

Switch settings include Basic Switch Information, Module Information, and information on 
Advanced Settings and Miscellaneous Settings. 

Basic Settings

The Basic Settings window displays factory assigned parameters of the switch, as listed below:

Description: 

Displays name of device

MAC Address: 

Displays unique hardware address assigned by manufacturer (default)

Firmware Version: 

Displays switch's firmware version.

ASIC Version: 

Displays switch's Hardware version.

PCBA version: 

Displays board number.

Serial number: 

Displays serial number assigned by manufacturer. 

Module Information

This window displays information on the plug-in components (card and/or modules) detected 
in the device. A typical Module Info window is shown below.
