Port Configuration Settings

Port Administrative Mode

User can enable or disable the administrative mode of each port using the following command. 
When a port is disabled, it will not forward any traffic. However, it will retain all the configured 
values associated with that port. To enable/disable the administrative mode of a port, use the 
following command:

LS2W> config port adminmode <slot.port/all> <enable/disable>

LS2W> config port adminmode 0.1 enable

Auto Negotiation Mode

Use the following command to set the port in auto negotiation, forced speed.

LS2W> config port autoneg <slot.port/all> <auto/force/nway>

LS2W> config port autoneg 0.1 auto

Note

Auto negotiation cannot be set on trunk port.
