Installation Precautions

WARNING

Safety precautions

1. The electrical safety regulations must be followed when installing the unit.
2. Use a suitable power supply circuit in conformity with the local safety regulations.
3. For appliances with a type Y attachment, the instructions must include the

following information. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
the manufacturer’s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

4. The live, neutral wire and earth wires of the power socket must be connected correctly.
5. Be sure to disconnect the power supply before proceeding with any work related to electricity

and safety.

6. Do not connect to the power before finishing installation.
7. The air conditioner is a first-class electrical appliance. It must be properly earthed with a spe-

cialised grounding device by a professional. Please make sure it is always grounded effectively,
otherwise it may cause electric shock.

8. The yellow-green wire or green wire in the air conditioner is the earth wire and must not be used

for other purposes.

9. The earthing resistance should comply with national electrical safety regulations.
10. The appliance must be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
