Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the heat discharge pipe
Remove the heat discharge pipe from the air conditioner, clean and dry it, and then reinstall it.
(For the method of installation and removal, please refer to the instructions for “Installation
and disassembly of the heat discharge pipe”).
Checking before use – season
1. Check whether air inlets and air outlets are blocked.
2. Check whether the plug and socket are in good condition.
3. Check whether the filter is clean.
4. Check whether batteries are installed in the remote control.
5. Check whether the joint, window bracket and heat discharge pipe are installed tightly.
6. Check whether the heat discharge pipe is damaged.
Checking after use – season
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Clean the filter and outer case.
3. Remove dust and particles from the air conditioner.
4. Eliminate accumulated water in the chassis (refer to the “Drainage method” section for details).
5. Check whether or not the window bracket is damaged. If so, please contact your dealer.
Long-term storage
If you are not going to use the air conditioner for a long time, please maintain it by following these
steps for good performance:

Make sure there is no accumulated water in the chassis and that the heat discharge pipe is
disassembled.

Pull out the plug and wrap the power cord.
●
Clean the air conditioner and pack it well to prevent dust.
Recovery
●
Many of the packing materials are recyclable. Please recycle as directed locally.
●
If you wish to discard the air conditioner, please contact your local recycling department or
service centre for the correct disposal method.
