ABOUT THE SCAN TOOL
The Scan Tool is a device that connects to your vehicle's Data Link
Connector to retrieve any Diagnostic Trouble Codes that are stored in
the vehicle's on-board computer.
DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)
Your vehicle test connector is known as the
Data Link Connector (DLC) or Diagnostic
Connector. The Honda DLC connector is a
rectangular two-socket plastic connector,
usually light blue in color. The connector
may be located behind the passenger side
of the dashboard, near the center console
close to the accelerator pedal, or near the
underhood fuse/relay block.
