3.1.2 Initial Setup
During the initializing process, the OS of the EonNAS Pro server will be copied onto
the two (2) installed hard drives. This initialization process may take up to 10 minutes.
The Quick Initialization process creates the following:
One storage pool "EonPool" with all drives
RAID 1 with two HDDs or RAID 5, when more than two HDDs installed
One shared volume "EonShare"
One account with username: guest, password: guest with full access
Upon completion of the initialization process, the following “Reboot ..”. screen will
appear:

Approximately 2 minutes after seeing the above screen, you will hear 2 beeps and see
the EonNAS model number and IP address to indicate completion.

The EonNAS Pro use DHCP protocol and the server will automatically assign an IP
address to the EonNAS system. The IP address represents the EonNAS Pro’s IP for
you to log into.
If you see the IP address 10.0.0.2, it means you may require a static IP address to log
onto your network. Please refer to the Web-Interface Manual and contact your network
administrator for detail network settings.
