Remove and Replace the Elevator
The elevator assembly (505-1025-xx) is located in the bottom case. It consists of an elevator shaft,
actuator and housing. The elevator shaft slides up or down through the housing to raise or lower the front
of the projector when you press the actuator button on the bottom case. The elevator foot fits at the
bottom of the shaft.
1 Remove the following items:
Top case (see page 13)
Controller ECA (see page 16)
Optical engine (see page 34)
Intake duct (see page 50)
2 Adjust the elevator shaft to its fully extended position.
3 Remove the Phillips screw in the bottom of the rubber foot.
4 Remove the three M3x8 self-tapping Phillips screws that fasten the elevator to the bottom case.
