Preventing Freezing
■
If the Washing Features Stop Working Due to
Freezing Water
If the water supply hose or the water supply
connection freezes and prevents the washing
features from operating, gradually warm up the hose
and/or connection with a warm damp cloth.
The bathroom should also be heated to allow the
hose and/or connection to thaw.
How to Drain the Water Supply Hose
[Note]

Do not pour hot water (or blow hot air) on the
water supply hose, as this may damage the wa-
ter supply hose.
Close the water shutoff valve.
Remove the top cover.

Remove the strainer.

Check that no water leaks from the water
shutoff valve.
Connect the water supply hose.
Mount the top cover.
Mount the strainer.

Disconnect the water supply hose from
the water shutoff valve and drain water
from inside the hose.

supply hose.

When using the toilet again be sure to perform
usage checks described on page 15.
