Ineffective Deodorizing
Effective deodorizing cannot be performed if the deodorizer cartridge is contaminated with dust, etc. Clean the
cartridge if you experience odors.
How to Clean the Deodorizer Cartridge
Remove the top cover.
Remove the deodorizer cartridge.
Insert the deodorizer cartridge into the
slot.
Mount the top cover.

Replacing the deodorizer cartridge
If you still experience odors even after the deodorizer cartridge is cleaned, the cartridge has almost expired.
Replace it with a new one.
The service life of the deodorizer cartridge is about 7 years for normal use.
* Refer to page 79 for information on obtaining a replacement deodorizer cartridge.

Recording the usage start date
Write the date you start using the toilet on the date label for reference to check the
when replacement of the deodorizer cartridge is due. Record the usage start date
on the date label of the new cartridge.

Take the deodorizer cartridge out of the
deodorizer cartridge cover.
Set the cleaned deodorizer cartridge into
the deodorizer cartridge cover so that
the cut corner is placed on the right side.
* Press the top cover until a click is heard.

Remove dust, etc. from the filter using a
tooth brush or similar.
