DOMESTIC HOT WATER
HEAT EXCHANGER
FLOW
Motorised three-way valve for instant versions
only.
It is made up from a small electric motor (1) connected, by
means of a relevant clip, to the 3-way valve group (2).
According to the request (
DHW or CH
), the 3-way valve allows
to introduce boiler water into the central heating system or
into the domestic hot water heat exchanger (
plate
).
This depends on the position of the shutter (4) which, closes
the passage towards the system opening it at the same time
towards the domestic hot water heat exchanger (
DHW position
)
or vice versa (
CH position
).
Motor operation (1) is activated by the P.C.B. and, at every
180° rotation, leads to the shifting of the shutter (4) in both
positions (
DHW or CH
).
The hydraulic part is made up from a brass unit (2).
Operation in central heating phase.
The shutter (4) contrast spring (3) is not compressed(
central
heating position
), keeping the passage towards the domestic hot
water heat exchanger closed (
plate
) and keeping the passage
towards the system flow open.
Both the spring (3) and the shutter (4) are situated inside the
brass 3-way valve group body (2).
Operation in central domestic hot water phase.
The hydraulic unit is always positioned in the DHW phase.
The small electric motor (1) pushes the stem (5) to which the
shutter is connected, (4) which closes the passage towards the
system and opening it at the same time towards the domestic
hot water heat exchanger (
plate
). The shutter (4) contrast spring
(3) is compressed (
domestic hot water position
).
Both the spring (3) and the shutter (4) are situated inside the
brass 3-way valve group body (2).
