5.2 Laufzeitanzeige und Funktion OUTRO
In der Grundeinstellung nach dem Einschalten gibt
das Display (3) während der Wiedergabe einer CD
und bei eingeschalteter Pause die Nummer (h) und
die Restzeit (i) des gerade laufenden Titels an. Zur
Kennzeichnung der Restzeit signalisiert das Display
„REMAIN“ (f). Die Zeit wird in Minuten (M) und
Sekunden (S) angezeigt, wobei die Sekunden noch
einmal in 75 sogenannte „Frames” (F) unterteilt sind
(1 Frame =

Sekunde). Durch mehrfaches kurzes
Betätigen der Taste TIME/STOP (15) können fol-
gende Zeitinformationen angezeigt und die Funktion
OUTRO gewählt werden (wird die Taste länger
gedrückt, schaltet das Laufwerk auf Stopp):
1. Tastendruck
die bereits gespielte Zeit des momentanen
Titels (die Anzeige „REMAIN“ erlischt)
2. Tastendruck
die Funktion OUTRO zum Abspielen der jeweils
letzten 30 Sekunden der weiteren Titel (die
Funktion ist erst ab dem nächsten Titel aktiv –
eventuell die Taste
betätigen); die Restzeit
des laufenden Titels wird angezeigt
3. Tastendruck
die Restzeit der gesamten CD; der Bargraph (c)
erlischt
4. Tastendruck
die Grundeinstellung ist wieder erreicht
5.2.1 Bargraph
Je nach Anzeige der Restzeit oder der bereits
gespielten Zeit eines Titels stellt der Bargraph (c)
zusätzlich die Zeit durch seine Länge graphisch dar.
Die letzten 30 Sekunden eines Titels signalisiert der
Bargraph durch Blinken in seiner vollen Länge,
wobei die letzten 15 Sekunden durch ein schnelle-
res Blinken angezeigt werden.
Hinweis: Bei der Anzeige der Restzeit der gesam-
ten CD ist der Bargraph ausgeblendet.
5.3 Betriebsart wählen
Mit der Taste CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) lassen
sich nacheinander die vier Betriebsarten „Single“,
„Continue“, „Single Relay“ und „Continue Relay“ ein-
schalten. Um z. B. von der Betriebsart „Continue“
zur Betriebsart „Single“ zurückzuschalten, die Taste
CONT./SINGLE/RELAY dreimal betätigen.
5.3.1 „Single“ – Einzeltitelwiedergabe
Nach dem Einschalten ist immer die Einzeltitel-
wiedergabe aktiviert. Im Display wird „SINGLE
AUTO CUE“ (e) angezeigt. Nach dem Spielen eines
Titels schaltet das Gerät auf Pause. Danach ist
exakt die Stelle des nächsten Titels angefahren, an
der die Musik beginnt (und nicht der Zeitindex
00:00:00).
Diese Stelle ist als Startpunkt gespeichert. Nach
dem Starten des Titels kann mit der Taste CUE 1
(12) oder CUE 2 (14) auf diesen Startpunkt zurück-
gesprungen werden (siehe Kapitel 5.4).
5.3.2 „Continue“ – Gesamttitelwiedergabe
Die Taste CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so oft betäti-
gen, bis im Display „CONTINUE“ (d) anstelle von
„SINGLE AUTO CUE“ kontinuierlich erscheint. Das
Gerät spielt einen Titel nach dem anderen bis zum
Ende der CD ab.
5.3.3 „Single Relay“ – automatischer Start des
anderen Laufwerks am Ende eines Titels
1) Die Taste CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so oft
betätigen, bis im Display „SINGLE AUTO CUE“
(e) blinkt. Die Betriebsart „Single Relay“ ist damit
für beide Laufwerke gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk einen Titel abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Pause geschaltet sein
[Anzeige (a)].
3) Am Ende des Titels startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann einen Titel spielt und danach wie-
der das erste Laufwerk startet usw. bis eine CD
zu Ende gespielt ist.
4) Durch Betätigen der Taste
(10) von Laufwerk
1 oder 2 läßt sich die Wiedergabe von einem zum
anderen Laufwerk manuell umschalten.
5) Wird bei dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk
eine andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder
die Betriebsart „Single Relay“ mit der Taste
CONT./SINGLE/RELAY aktivieren.
5.3.4 „Continue Relay“ – automatischer Start
des anderen Laufwerks am Ende der CD
1) Die Taste CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so oft
betätigen, bis im Display „CONTINUE“ (d) blinkt.
Die Betriebsart „Continue Relay“ ist damit für
beide Laufwerke gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk eine CD abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Stopp geschaltet wer-
den. Dazu die entsprechende Taste TIME/STOP
(15) so lange gedrückt halten, bis die Anzeige
(a) erlischt.
3) Am Ende der CD startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann seine CD spielt und danach wieder
das erste Laufwerk startet usw.
4) Wird bei dem auf Stopp stehenden Laufwerk
eine andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder
die Betriebsart „Continue Relay“ mit der Taste
CONT./SINGLE/RELAY
aktivieren, und das
Laufwerk mit der Taste TIME/STOP auf Stopp
schalten.
Hinweise für die beiden Betriebsarten „Relay“
a. Ist der CD-Spieler über die Buchsen START/
PAUSE (24 und 27) an ein Mischpult mit Fader-
start-Funktion angeschlossen (siehe Kap. 6),
müssen die beiden Fader am Mischpult für den
CD-Spieler geöffnet sein. Der CD-Spieler läßt
sich im Relay-Betrieb nicht durch die Mischpult-
fader steuern.
b. In der Betriebsart „Continue Relay“ startet das
auf Stopp stehende Laufwerk nicht automatisch,
wenn die spielende CD manuell mit der
SEARCH-Taste oder (16)
bis
zum
Ende gefahren wird.
c. Wird in der Betriebsart „Single Relay“ die Taste
CUE 1 (12) oder CUE 2 (14) des wiedergeben-
den Laufwerks betätigt, wechselt die Wiedergabe
zum anderen Laufwerk. Wird an dem auf Pause

In the basic setting after switching-on the display (3)
shows the number (h) and the remaining time (i) of
the title currently played during replay of a CD and
with activated pause. The display signalizes the
remaining time by “REMAIN” (f). The time is shown
in minutes (M) and seconds (S) whereby the
seconds are again subdivided into 75 „frames” (F)

second). By shortly pressing button
TIME/STOP (15) several times, the following time
information can be shown and function OUTRO can
be selected (if the button is pressed longer, the
player mechanism switches to the stop mode):

seconds each of further titles (the function is

5.2.1 Bargraph
There is an additional graphic time display by the
length of the bargraph (c) according to the display of
the remaining time or elapsed time of a title. The
bargraph signalizes the last 30 seconds of a title by
blinking in its full length whereby the last 15 seconds
are indicated by blinking more quickly.
Note: The bargraph is blanked off if the remaining
playing time of the entire CD is shown.
5.3 Selecting the operating mode
With the button CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) the four
operating modes “Single”, “Continue”, “Single Relay”,
and “Continue Relay” can successively be switched
on. To switch e. g. from the operating mode “Con-
tinue” back to the operating mode “Single”, press the
button CONT./SINGLE/RELAY three times.
5.3.1 “Single” title replay
After switching on always the single title relay is
activated. “SINGLE AUTO CUE” (e) is displayed.
After playing a title, the unit switches to pause. Then
the spot of the next title where the music starts is
aimed at exactly (and not the time index 00:00:00).
This spot is memorized as starting point. After start-
ing the title it is possible to jump back to this starting
point with the button CUE 1 (12) or CUE 2 (14) – see
chapter 5.4.
5.3.2 “Continue” – total title replay
Press the button CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so
many times until “CONTINUE” (d) is continuously
displayed instead of “SINGLE AUTO CUE”. The unit
plays one title after the other until the end of the CD.
5.3.3 “Single Relay” – automatic start of the other
playing mechanism at the end of a title
1) Press the button CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so
many times until “SINGLE AUTO CUE” (e) blinks
in the display. Thus, the operating mode “Single
Relay” is activated for both player mechanisms
at the same time.
2) Play a title on one player mechanism. The other
player mechanism must be switched to pause
[indication (a)].
3) At the end of the title the other player mechanism
starts which then plays a title and afterwards
starts the first player mechanism again etc. until a
CD is played to the end.
4) Press the button
(10) of player mechanism 1
or 2 for manual switching of the replay from one
player mechanism to the other.
5) If another CD is inserted into the player mecha-
nism in the pause mode, then activate again the
operating mode “Single Relay” with the button
CONT./SINGLE/RELAY.
5.3.4 “Continue Relay” – automatic start of the
other player mechanism at the end of
the CD
1) Press the button CONT./SINGLE/RELAY (13) so
many times until “CONTINUE” (d) blinks in the
display. Thus, the operating mode “Continue
Relay” is activated for both player mechanisms
at the same time.
2) Play a CD on one player mechanism. The other
player mechanism must be switched to stop. For
this keep the corresponding button TIME/STOP
(15) pressed until the indication
(a) extin-
guishes.
3) At the end of the CD the other player mechanism
starts which then plays its CD and afterwards
starts the first player mechanism again, etc.
4) If another CD is inserted into the player mecha-
nism in the stop mode, then activate again the
operating mode “Continue Relay” with the button
CONT./SINGLE/RELAY and switch the player
mechanism to the stop mode with the button
TIME/STOP.
Hints for the two operating modes “Relay”
a. If the CD player is connected to a mixer with
fader start function via the jacks START/PAUSE
(24 and 27) (see chapter 6), both faders at the
mixer must be opened for the CD player. In the
relay mode the CD player cannot be controlled by
the mixer faders.
b. In the operating mode “Continue Relay” the
player mechanism in the stop mode does not
start automatically if the playing CD is manually
driven to the end with the SEARCH button
or (16).
c. If the button CUE 1 (12) or CUE 2 (14) of the
replaying player mechanism is pressed in the
operating mode “Single Relay”, the replay
changes to the other player mechanism. If the
button CUE 1 oder CUE 2 of the player mecha-
nism in the pause mode is kept pressed, the
replay changes as long as the button is kept
pressed.
