schlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resul-
tierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine
Garantie für die Geräte übernommen werden.
3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Verstärkersystem PMX-150SET besteht aus
einem Power Mixer (Kombination aus Stereo-End-
stufe und 5-Kanal-Mischpult mit digitalem Effekt-
prozessor) und zwei 100-W-Lautsprecherboxen.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören außerdem:
– ein Netzkabel und zwei Ersatz-Netzsicherungen
– zwei Lautsprecherstative
– zwei 10-m-Lautsprecherkabel
– ein dynamisches Mikrofon inkl. 6-m-Mikrofonkabel
Der Power Mixer und das Zubehör sind in einer
Kunststoffwanne verstaut, die sich mit den beiden
Lautsprecherboxen zu einem rollbaren Transportkof-
fer montieren lässt. Dadurch eignet sich das System
ideal für den mobilen Einsatz z. B. Live-Auftritte klei-
ner Bands, Tanzveranstaltungen, Vorführungen etc.
4 Aufstellen des Systems
1) Zum Abnehmen der Lautsprecherboxen vom
Kofferunterteil die vier Schnappverschlüsse öff-
nen, mit denen die Boxen befestigt sind.
2) Das Zubehör ist im Kofferunterteil verstaut, hinter
dem Power Mixer sowie in den beiden Fächern
links und rechts vom Power Mixer. Die benötigten
Zubehörteile herausnehmen.
3) Die Stative aufstellen (siehe Abb. 3):
a Die untere Knebelschraube (D) lösen und die
drei Beine so weit auseinander ziehen, dass
das Stativ standfest aufgestellt werden kann.
Die Knebelschraube wieder fest anziehen.
b Um das Stativrohr bis zur gewünschten Höhe
herauszuziehen, die obere Knebelschraube (B)
lösen. Für die Aufnahme des Sicherungsstiftes
(A) ist das Rohr mit Bohrungen versehen. Das
Rohr immer so weit herausziehen, dass sich
knapp über der Rohrhülse (C) eine Bohrung
befindet. Den Stift in diese Bohrung stecken.
Die Knebelschraube wieder fest anziehen.
4) Die Lautsprecherboxen auf die Stative setzen.
5 Zusammenbau des Systems zum
Transportkoffer (Abb. 4)
1) Das Zubehör im Kofferunterteil verstauen. Die Sta-
tive mit den Gurten gegen ein Verrutschen sichern.
2) Die zwei Lautsprecherboxen so auf das Kofferun-
terteil setzen, dass ihre Frontseiten aneinander
liegen und sie mit den vier Schnappverschlüssen
am Kofferunterteil befestigen.
3) An einer der Boxen befindet sich ein herauszieh-
barer Griff. Um die Verriegelung des Griffs zu lö-
sen, die Entriegelungstaste an der Griffunterseite
herunterdrücken und den Griff herausziehen.
6 Anschluss
Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten bzw. Ändern be-
stehender Anschlüsse den Power Mixer ausschalten.
6.1 Eingänge
Jeder der Kanäle 1 – 4 besitzt sowohl einen sym-
metrischen XLR-Mikrofoneingang als auch einen
asymmetrischen Line-Klinkeneingang. Die XLR-Ein-
gänge werden mit einer 15-V-Phantomspeisung ver-
sorgt. Damit eignen sie sich zum Anschluss von
Kondensator- oder Elektretmikrofonen, die mit die-
sem Speisungspegel arbeiten.
An den Kanal 5 lässt sich über Cinch-Buchsen
eine zusätzliche Line-Signalquelle anschließen.
1) Mikrofone anschließen:
– bei den Kanälen 1 – 3 an die XLR-Anschlüsse
der Kombibuchsen (1)
– bei Kanal 4 an die XLR-Buchse „Mic In“ (2)
[Die Buchse ist abgeschaltet, wenn ein Gerät
an der linken Buchse „Left/Mono“ (3) des Line-
Eingangs angeschlossen ist.]
2) Geräte mit Line-Mono-Ausgang (z. B. Instrumen-
tenverstärker, Effektgeräte) anschließen:
– bei den Kanälen 1 – 3 an die 6,3-mm-Klin-
kenanschlüsse der Kombibuchsen (1)
– bei Kanal 4 an die linke 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuch-
se „Left/Mono“ (3)
– bei Kanal 5 an eine der Cinch-Buchsen „Aux
In“ (4), den Kanal dann mit der Taste „Mode“
(6) auf mono schalten
3) Geräte mit Line-Stereo-Ausgang (z. B. Keyboard,
CD-Spieler, MD-Recorder) anschließen:
– bei Kanal 4 an die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchsen
„Stereo“ (3)
– bei Kanal 5 an die Cinch-Buchsen „Aux In“ (4)
6.2 Ausgänge
Mit den beiliegenden Lautsprecherkabeln je einen
Ausgang OUTPUT (18) – linker Kanal LEFT, rechter
Kanal RIGHT – mit einer Lautsprecherbox verbinden.
Das Summensignal, das auf die interne Endstufe
geführt wird, steht auch am Ausgang „Aux Out“ (5)
zur Verfügung. Hier kann ein weiteres Gerät mit
Line-Eingang angeschlossen werden, z. B. ein End-
verstärker, ein Mischpult oder ein Aufnahmegerät.
6.3 Stromversorgung
Das beiliegende Netzkabel mit der Netzbuchse (16)
verbinden und den Stecker des Kabels in eine
Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.
Achtung! Mikrofone mit asymmetrischem Aus-
gang dürfen nicht an die XLR-Eingänge ange-
schlossen werden, da sie durch die 15-V-Phan-
tomspeisung beschädigt werden können.
Soll das System endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben
Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
3 Applications
The amplifier system PMX-150SET consists of a
power mixer (combination of a stereo power ampli-
fier and a 5-channel mixer with digital effect proces-
sor) and two 100 W speaker systems.
The following accessories are supplied with the
system:
– a mains cable and two replacement mains fuses
– two speaker stands
– two 10 m speaker cables
– a dynamic microphone incl. a 6 m microphone
cable
The power mixer and its accessories are stowed in a
plastic tub. Together with the two speaker systems,
this tub can be assembled to a transport case on
wheels. Thus, the system is ideal for mobile ap-
plications, e. g. live performances of small bands,
dances, presentations, etc.
4 Setting up the System
1) To remove the speaker systems from the lower
part of the case, open the four snap locks fixing
the speaker systems.
2) The accessories are stowed in the lower part of
the case, behind the power mixer and in the two
compartments on the right and on the left of the
power mixer. Take out the accessories required.
3) Set up the stands (see fig. 3):
a Release the lower knob screw (D) and fold out
the three legs until a stable position of the
stand is ensured. Retighten the knob screw.
b To pull out the tube of the stand to the desired
height, release the upper knob screw (B). The
tube is provided with drill holes to accommo-
date the locking pin (A). Always pull out the
tube until a drill hole is just above the tube
sleeve (C). Insert the pin into this hole. Retight-
en the knob screw.
4) Place the speaker systems on the stands.
5 Assembling the System to a Transport
Case (fig. 4)
1) Stow the accessories in the lower part of the
case. To prevent displacement of the stands,
secure them with the straps provided.
2) Place the two speaker systems on the lower part
of the case in such a way that their front sides
touch and fix them to the lower part of the case
via the four snap locks.
3) One of the speaker systems is provided with a re-
tractable handle. To release the lock of the
handle, press the unlocking button on the lower
side of the handle to retract the handle.
6 Connection
Switch off the power mixer prior to connecting any
units or changing any existing connections.
6.1 Inputs
Each of the channels 1 to 4 is provided both with a
balanced XLR microphone input and an unbalanced
6.3 mm line input. The XLR inputs are supplied with
a 15 V phantom power. Thus, they are suitable for
connecting capacitor or electret microphones oper-
ating at this power supply level.
Channel 5 allows connection of an additional line
signal source via phono jacks.
1) Connecting microphones:
– for channels 1 to 3 to the XLR connections of
the combined jacks (1)
– for channel 4 to the XLR jack “Mic In” (2)
[The jack is switched off if a unit is connected
to the left jack “Left/Mono” (3) of the line input.]
2) Connecting units with line mono output (e. g.
instrument amplifiers, effect units):
– for channels 1 to 3 to the 6.3 mm connections
of the combined jacks (1)
– for channel 4 to the left 6.3 mm jack “Left/
Mono” (3)
– for channel 5 to one of the phono jacks “Aux
In” (4); in this case, set the channel to mono
with the switch “Mode” (6)
3) Connecting units with line stereo output (e. g.
keyboard, CD player, MD recorder):
– for channel 4 to the 6.3 mm jacks “Stereo” (3)
– for channel 5 to the phono jacks “Aux In” (4)
6.2 Outputs
Use the supplied speaker cables to connect one
OUTPUT (18) each – LEFT channel and RIGHT
channel – to a speaker system.
Attention! Never connect microphones with
unbalanced output to the XLR inputs as they
may be damaged by the 15 V phantom power.
If the system is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment.
