h. Secure the plastic guards: ensure that no tools have been
left inside the cover. Make sure that the front blade guard
(red) and the rear blade guard (black) are mounted correctly;
the blade must never come into contact with fingers.
i. Ensure that the cutting disk is secure and rotates in the cor-
rect direction.
Never use worn disks.
Use exclusively disks suited to the rpm specified on
the machine dataplate.
Check that the direction of disk rotation is as
indicated on the blade guard.
Ensure that the disk guard is fitted in the correct
position.
WARNING!!! An incorrectly installed disk or
insufficiently tightened screw can cause damage to the machine
or physical injury.
Note that the disk must have an external diameter of
180 mm, a central hole diameter of 25.4 mm and maximum
thickness of 1.8 mm. Ensure that the blade is suited to the type
of material to be cut.
Never use cutting tools or segmented blades designed
to cut wood.
15. TROUBLESHOOTING
SPECIAL WARNING!! Before carrying out any
maintenance operations, switch off the machine and remove
the plug from the power socket.
