4. MOUNTING THE BAR AND CHAIN
WARNING! DO NOT START THE CHAIN-
SAW BEFORE YOU HAVE MOUNTED AND
ADJUSTED THE BAR AND CHAIN.
WEAR SAFETY GLOVES WHEN PER
FORMING THIS OPERATION. THE CUT-
TING TEETH (OF THE CHAIN) CAN CAUSE
WOUNDS
1) Open the box containing the chainsaw and extract
the disassembled parts and accessories as shown in
Fig.2. In the box you will find:
2) Position the Chainsaw body as in Fig. 3 and make
sure that the (chain) safety brake is not engaged (ar-
row Fig. 3).
3) Unscrew the nuts (Fig. 4 part.1) and remove the
brake cover.
4) Rotate the chain tensioning screw anticlockwise (un-
screw direction) (Fig. 5 part.1) so that the chain ten-
sioning tooth retreats (Fig. 5 part.2).
