3) Prepare the fuel mixture and perform the refueling
only in the open air (Fig. 23).
4) Store the fuel in a container made for the purpose
and with the cap properly closed.
Top up the chain oil tank every time you add fuel.
6. CHAIN OIL TOP UP
STARTING WITH THE ENGINE COLD
1) ATTENTION!
Top up only with a specific oil for lubri-
cating chainsaw chains (see Fig. 24).
2) DO NOT
use waste oil.
3) An oil other than that recommended may result in
damage to the bar, to the chain and to the lubrica-
tion system.
7. STARTING AND STOPPING
ATTENTION! Comply scrupulously with the
warnings given in Section 2 above “FUN-
DAMENTAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS”.
WARNING! Only start the chain saw when
this is fully assembled and complete with
bar and chain.
2) Fully press down the fuel primer (fig. 27 part 2).
3) Rise the
STOP
lever (Fig. 26 part.1).
4) Pull the air knob down (Fig. 27 part.1).
Before start-up, make sure that the chain brake is
disconnected by pulling the lever (Fig. 25) towards
the front handle.
1) Rest the chainsaw on a stable surface.
