- The bar is inserted into the carriage lathe (E) that
then goes back to its initial position.
- The guide (D) returns to its low position. The bar
pusher (A) lines up with the loading axis of the
lathe spindle.
- The bar pusher (A) inserts the bar into the
spindle liner. The bar ejects the remnant (F) as a
residual of the previous machining, and is
positioned for the facing.
The lathe working cycle starts with the beginning of
the bar facing phase.
At this point the bar is precisely fed according to the
value which has been set, then the machining phase
takes place until one piece has been fully machined.
The latter phase is repeated several times till the bar has been completely machined.
NOTE: in order to save time, it is possible to start the “bar change” phase when the lathe is
machining the last piece.
