8.8 Checking operation (Maintenance menu)
You can set necessary items for operation verification.
This menu is enabled and displayed by setting [F99] to “on” or “ALL”.
To finish the ope
ration, set the “SET” key.

8.8.1 [ C01 ] Sink device EDID check
You can set which signal mode will be selected if EDID of the sink device cannot be acquired.
The HDC acquires EDID from the sink device and determines if the sink device is an HDMI device or DVI
device in order to output HDMI signals.
However, if the HDC cannot acquire EDID for some reasons, problems such as no audio output and the like
may occur.
Setting value
oFF : In case of EDID load error, the sink device is treated as a DVI device [Default]
Err : In case of EDID load error, the sink device is treated as a HDMI device
ALL : Always treats sink device as a HDMI device
