Sequence of Operation
REMOTE AIR-COOLED CONDENSER
NOTE: The 'ICE/OFF/WASH' switch must be in the 'ICE'
position and the water curtain must be in place on the
evaporator before the ice machine will start.
Initial Start-Up or Start-Up
After Automatic Shutdown
1. Water Fill
Water inlet valve energizes to allow the water trough to
fill, until water reaches the low-level probe on the water
sensor probe.
2. Water Flush
The dump valve and water pump are then energized to
discard the remaining water in the trough for 20
seconds. The dump valve and water pump is de-
energized and the water inlet valve energizes a second
time to allow the water trough to fill, until water reaches
the high-level probe on the water level sensor.
2. Refrigeration System Equalization and Start-Up
The hot gas valve and harvest pressure regulating (HPR)
solenoid valves energize to equalize high and low side
refrigeration pressure.
After 4 seconds the liquid line solenoid valve energizes
and the contactor energizes the compressor and
condenser fan motor.
