27 An invalid message was received. Retry the operation. If the problem recurs,

28 An invalid parameter was detected. Retry the operation. If the problem recurs,
contact IBM support.
29 A library element is inaccessible. Complete the following steps:
1. Make sure that the tape drives are
correctly installed. See “Removing a tape
drive” on page 47 for more information.
2. Make sure that the power supplies are
correctly installed. See “Removing a
power supply” on page 45 for more
information.
2A An invalid element address was
used. The host requested an invalid
element.
Contact IBM support.
2B The source address is empty. Make sure that the tape is in the tape drive
or magazine. See “Scan inventory” on page
21 for more information.
2C One of the following errors occurred:

The destination address is full.
v The gripper is holding a cartridge.
v
The host or user requested an
invalid move.
Complete the following steps:
1. Determine whether a tape is at the
destination address. See “Find tape” on
page 20 for more information.
2. Make sure that there are no obstructions
in the tape drive or magazine. See
“Release magazines” on page 19 for
more information.
3. Inventory the tapes that are installed.
See “Scan inventory” on page 21 for
more information.
2D The host or user requested a tape
cartridge move to an incompatible
address.
Verify that the source address and
destination address are different. See “Move
tape” on page 20 for more information.
2E The task stack is close to
overflowing.
Power cycle the library; then, retry the
request. If the problem recurs, replace the
library controller. See “Removing the library

2F The task stack has overflowed. Retry the operation. If the problem recurs,

30 The calculated checksum does not
match the stored checksum.
