Configuration of Network connections and adresses
Set the CAN-Bus adress of the instrument
In the Setup window, click “set CAN ID”. After the password check you will see the CAN parameters
window.
Set the CAN ID to a number between 1 an 255 unique for each instrument.
The CAN Baudrate must be the same for all instruments on the same Bus cable. 125kBps is a good
choice for cables of up to 400 m length.
Please remember that a 120 ohms termination resistor must be connected to both ends of the bus
cable.
You can review the CAN-Bus Ids in the table “new instrument”, accessable from the main window.
You can change the CAN parameters of the instruments over CAN bus connection. All changes of
CAN parameters in the instrument get effective after a reboot (power cycle) of the instrument.
The CAN parameters for the PC are set in the System Options window, tab P-CAN
