Event Memory
A “event“ is defined as a special alarm situation which shall be stored separately. SiViB has two event
memory blocks with different use:
1. Event level memory. Up to 192 single event records, where each one holds the values of all inputs
and date and time stamp. Storing one of these records is triggered by one input going above the event
trigger level. SiViB does not store immediately when the trigger level is exceeded, but checks for the
highest value during the event (peak hold).
2. Event trace memory. The event gets recorded as trace of values taken periodically. The interval
time defines the time between two data records. Memory size is 192 records, where 48 of them are
showing the values before trigger and the remaining 96 after the trigger. This allows to see the
behavior of the values right before and after the event happened.
Event triggering
The event data sets described above will be stored when the event trigger condition is met.
Only those input channels will be used as trigger sources, which are configured as alarm triggers.
Check the boxes in setup, outputs, alarm active.
As event trigger conditions, set the trigger level first. You can set different levels for alarmset 0 and 1.
This allows switching the level by using digital input “Set1” (terminal 8).
The alarm delay C can be used to delay the event recording.
Upload event records to the PC
Event records can get uploaded to the PC using the serial port or the memory card. For uploading
serial, click
Read Event Table
from the main menu screen.
Whenever you upload data using a memory card, the event records are uploaded as well.
Reviewing the Event Data
In the main screen click
Event Table
to show a table of the event records.
Click
Event Trend
to get a trend graph showing the traced values recorded during an event. You
might need to use the zoom fuction of the graph to expand the time of interest.
