Procedure
1) Confirm the motor shaft rotating direction when the slider is moved from the home position to the mechanism end.
(The rotating direction varies depending on the motor installation position. Therefore, the confirmation is always required).
• Remove the pulley cover.
(Use the hexagon wrench with the distance to the
opposite side of 1.5 mm for IF-S or 2 mm for IF-M).
• Protection Cover Removal
(Use the hexagon wrench with the distance to the
opposite side of 1.5 mm)
• Because the earth cable is fastened with the M3
bolt, the 5.5 mm spanner wrench and Phillips
type screwdriver are used.
2) Remove the cable protection cover and disconnect the motor connector, encoder connector and motor earth cable.
• Confirm the motor shaft rotating direction.
3) Remove the motor cover.
(Use the hexagon wrench with the distance to
the opposite side of 2.5 mm)
4) Slightly loosen the bolt fixing the motor.
(Use the hexagon wrench with the distance to
the opposite side of 3 mm for IF-S or 4 mm for
IF-M).
