11.6 Grease Replenishment for the Guide

11.6.1 What Grease to Use
Use lithium grease no. 2.
When we ship the unit, we use the following grease:
11.6.2 How to Lubricate
Use the two grease nipples on the slider end area for lubrication.
Grease is replenished with the belt cover removed.
(1) Squirt the grease from the grease nipple using a grease gun (Please see drawing below).
(2) Also, inject the grease into the other grease hole (Inject both the left and right holes).
(3) Move the slider back and forth several times by hand.
(4) Repeat the lubrication one more time.
(5) Wipe off the excessive grease.
Other companies also sell a grease similar to this. If ordering from another maker, give the name of this product and request
something comparable. Comparable products include the following:
Grease nipple
Showa Shell Oil
Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Eponex Grease No. 2
Albania Grease No. 2
