has two ways to control the
needle thread: Thread Tension and Thread Portioning.
The
deLuxe
™
6WLWFK6\VWHPLPSURYHVWKHFRUUHFWEDODQFH
between needle thread and bobbin thread. It will
automatically use Thread Portioning when possible, to get
the best result.
Thread Portioning automatically and continuously
measures the fabric thickness to portion the correct
amount of thread for the selected stitch. When using
Thread Tension, the tension discs will keep the correct
amount of tension on the needle thread.

needle thread and bobbin thread, e.g., when using specialty
thread.
Note: When changing the Thread Tension/Portioning by using
the controls, the changes only affect the selected stitch/design. Your
changed settings will be reset to default when selecting another stitch/
design.

Note: When changing the Thread Tension/Portioning by using the
Tension/Portioning Compensations in the Machine Settings Menu,
the changes affect all stitches and/or embroidery. Default setting is
Normal. The changed settings are automatically saved when turning
on your machine again.
