17 .5.24  Installing the cylinder head 

17  ENGINE 

-

Insert the special tool and press it with force towards the pis­

ton.

- Turn the special tool clockwise, thereby pushing the piston

ring lock into the groove.

Insertion for piston ring lock (77329030100) (

Ensure that the piston ring lock is in the correct position on

both sides.

-

Remove the cloth.  Keep the timing chain taut.

-

Carefully push the cylinder downward,  letting the dowels

engage.

-

Mount dowels

and fit cylinder head gasket  @.

-

Put the cylinder head in place.

-

Mount screws

with the washers and tighten them in a

crisscross pattern.
