Check the gear mesh and bearing of starter idler gear

If there is damage or wear:

Change the starter idler gear.
Check the gear mesh and bearing of torque limiter

there is damage or wear:

Change the torque limiter.
Check the gear mesh and bearing of freewheel gear

for damage and wear.
If
there is damage or wear:

Change the freewheel gear or bearing.
Check freewheel

there is damage or wear:

Change the freewheel.
Check the gear mesh of starter motor

there is damage or wear:

Change the starter motor.
Change the O-ring

of the starter motor.
Connect the negative cable of a 12 volt power supply to the housing of the starter motor. Connect the posi
tive cable of the power supply briefly with connector of the starter motor.

the starter motor does not turn when the circuit is closed:
