8.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM OR CONCERN POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Detergent is not dispensing The suction tube located in the
detergent spray bottle assembly
has been disconnected or clogged.
Remove the soap lance assembly

rom the
detergent bottle. Make sure that the clear tube
is properly connected to the soap lance. I

not connected then reconnect it.
Detergent to Water ratio
Your Powerwasher draws detergent at a
10:1
ratio.
Most pressure washer detergents are generally
concentrated within that range so minimal
ad
j
ustment is re

uired.

eel like you are using more detergent than

uired
f
or the application you can dilute it with
regular tap water.
Detergent - What to use
We recommend that you use a cleaner which is
speci
f
ically designed
f
or power washers. There
are di
ff
erent kinds available depending on the
application. Check with your local Home Depot
store

or the product which is best suited
f
or your
needs.
Never use Bleach, Ammonia or Hot
water in the unit.
Circuit breaker trips or Fuse
blown in Fuse Box
Circuit overload
Check that the circuit is rated at
15
amps or
greater. Make sure the unit is plugged into a
dedicated circuit.
Extension cord too long or wire
gauge too small
Use proper extension cord as recommended in
owner’s manual.
Nozzle partially blocked
Clean Nozzle as instructed in section 6.
