1.
E STOP button
– red, lock down
When depressed this button will lock in its
“off” position to inhibit all electrical
functions of the unit. To reset after a stop, insert the key and turn it until the
button clicks out into the normal position.
This button should not be used for normal stopping and starting, it is for use
only when it is necessary to stop the plant quickly in an emergency situation.
It may be used however to prevent unauthorised starting by pushing it in once
the plant has been shut down in the normal manner and removing the key.
2.
CLAMP ON
Once the bin flange has been placed on the combs, operation of this button will
raise the clamping frame and clamp the bin securely in place.
The button has to be held down until the clamping frame has fully clamped the
bin.
Release of the button results in the clamp frame ceasing to move until it is
either pushed again or the CLAMP RELEASE button is operated.
3.
CLAMP OFF
This button releases the clamp. It should only be operated once the bin has
been lowered back to the ground following cleaning.
DO NOT OPERATE THIS BUTTON/RELEASE THE CLAMP WITH THE BIN IN
ITS RAISED POSITION as doing so will unclamp the bin while raised with the
risk of it falling.
4.
RAISE BIN
Operation of this tilts and lifts the bin raising mechanism until elevated to the
desired height/angle for cleaning to commence. If the button is released during
the raising action, the bin will stop where it is until either this button is pushed
again or the BIN LOWER button is operated.
5.
LOWER BIN
This button is used to lower the bin when cleaning is complete. If the button is
released during the lowering action, the bin will stop where it is until either this
button is pushed again or the BIN RAISE button is operated.
