Step 5

Check whether the distance between the iBAT and the iBOX is greater than 15 m. Adjust the
iBOX installation position to shorten the distance between the iBOX and the iBAT, and
ensure that there is no physical object between the iBOX and the iBAT.

Step 6

Replace the iBAT with one of the same specifications, and reconnect the iBAT.

----End

8.3.7 All iBATs Related to the iBOX Cannot Be Connected to the
Network

Procedure

Step 1

Check the RF_Z indicator on the iBOX. If the green indicator blinks at long intervals, press
the iBOX networking switch for 2 seconds, so that the iBOX is in the network connection
state.

Step 2

On the iBOX WebUI, choose

System Settings

 >

Batt. String Config

. Check whether the

value of

iBAT number of iBOX

is the same as the actual value.

Step 3

Check whether there is interference from the nearby WiFi, 3G, 4G, bluetooth, and other
ZigBee devices (including the case where two or more other iBOXs cannot be simultaneously
started during serial networking). Adjust the iBOX installation position, shorten the distance
between the iBOX and the iBAT to ensure that there is no physical object between the iBOX
and the iBAT.

----End

8.3.8 iBAT Communication Failure

Procedure

Step 1

Measure the battery voltage. If the battery voltage is less than 9.6 V, press and hold the iBAT
networking switch for 10 seconds to check whether the iBAT is in the hibernation state.

Step 2

If the battery voltage is greater than or equal to 9.6 V and the iBAT networking switch cannot
be woken up for 10 seconds, the iBAT hardware may be damaged. Replace the iBAT.

Step 3

Check the RF_Z indicator on the iBOX. If the RF_Z indicator is blinking green at short
intervals and the iBAT indicator is blinking green at short intervals, the iBAT has not been
connected to the network.

Step 4

Check whether the iBAT indicator is steady red. If yes, press the networking switch for 2
seconds to complete the networking.

Step 5

Replace the iBAT with one of the same specifications, and reconnect the network.

----End
