5.7.1 Collecting SSD Information
Operation Scenario
Collect SSD information when maintaining SSDs.
Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the OS as an administrator or a member in the administrator group.
Step 2
Run the following command to query basic information about the SSD controller (such as
nvme0):
hioadm info -d nvme0
The command output is similar to the following:
[root@localhost tool]# hioadm info -d nvme0
Namespace<1> size: 3200.6GB, 3200631791616Byte
formatted LBA size: 512 Byte
formatted metadata size: 0 Byte
maximum capacity : 3200.6GB
current capacity : 3200.6GB

Step 3
Run the following command to query the SMART information of the SSD controller (such as
nvme0):
hioadm info -d nvme0 -s
The command output is similar to the following:
