Power on the router if the router is off.

After the HIM is initialized, the following information will be displayed on the configuration
terminal screen:

The device supports hot-swapping of HIMs.
When installing a HIM, use proper force and keep the HIM in the horizontal position to avoid
damage to components on the card.
Make sure that the HIM is inserted in the FIP before you restart the FIP or insert the FIP in the
router; otherwise, the HIM configurations do not take effect.
